FTTH Conference

On May 23-25, 2022, another edition of the FTTH Conference was held in Vienna, organized by the FTTH Council Europe - an association whose goal is effective technological development. It is one of the largest and most important events in the fiber optic industry.

This year, the event was attended by Marta Wojciechowska, President of the Board of Open Allies, who participated in the opening panel together with Alex Goldblum, Nicolas Jaeger, Thomas Arnoldner and Thorsten Dirks. Speakers focused on the key opportunities and challenges related to the development of a fiber optic network in Europe. During her speech, Marta presented the activities of the Open Allies Foundation, its goals and plans for future development.

Fast and reliable internet should be available, like electricity in the socket or clean air. We want to provide equal opportunities and build inclusive communities. The best way to do this is by sharing a broadband infrastructure. The open access model is not only the most effective but also the most sustainable digitization strategy. - comments Marta Wojciechowska, President of the Management Board of Open Allies.
