The Open Allies Foundation is Poland's first formalized initiative for open fiber networks. The organization established by wholesale operators is a platform for cooperation, exchange of experiences and communication intended for entities focused on wholesale activities.

On April 21, 2022 in Warsaw, on the initiative of the Open Allies Foundation, the 1st Wholesale Operators Conference was held, co-organized by the leading wholesale operators: Fiberhost, NEXERA, Tauron and Światłowód Inwestycje.

On May 23-25, 2022, another edition of the FTTH Conference was held in Vienna, organized by the FTTH Council Europe - an association whose goal is effective technological development. It is one of the largest and most important events in the fiber optic industry.
